Respondus software install#
Double-click on the Respondus35Campus.exe file to install Respondus to your computer. Follow instructions so that you can access the software. Click on Product Search and type Respondus in the white box. Respondus Monitor requires the Respondus Lockdown Browser and is an add-on which uses the student's webcam to utilize video to further prevent cheating during online quizzes. Access the Software Depot with your M圜SULB campus ID and password. The LockDown Browser should only be used for completing quiz assignments in Canvas. When students use LockDown Browser, they are unable to print, copy, go to another website/URL, or access other software programs. It allows students to take a quiz in a locked down environment. Stony Brook University has a Respondus & Respondus Monitor Subscription. Respondus LockDown Browser (LDB) is a secure browser for taking quizzes in Canvas. Respondus is a software that allows you to create tests and question pools.
